Description:

Oracle is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer 3 to join its Product Development team. This is a role for professionals who enjoy solving complex technical problems, building scalable systems, and contributing to innovative products.

As part of the Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) team, you will be working on a market-leading business analytics and intelligence platform that offers enterprise-class performance, security, and scalability. This platform supports both cloud and on-premise deployments and integrates with Oracle’s middleware and Fusion applications.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for applications, tools, networks, and databases. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and hands-on expertise in Java, JEE, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in software architecture, design, prototyping, and development.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor other developers.
• Debug and resolve complex issues in large-scale distributed systems.
• Design large, scalable systems for enterprise customers.
• Implement changes to existing software architecture as per evolving requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Technical Skills:

Core Java, JEE, Object-Oriented JavaScript (OOJS), RESTful APIs, Elasticsearch, Lucene, Kubernetes, Docker, Shell Scripting, Multithreaded Application Development, Cloud Infrastructure, Data Structures, Algorithms

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (preferably from top institutions) or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Extensive experience building and debugging multithreaded, scalable applications.
• Exposure to Kubernetes and Docker containerization.
• Experience with cloud-based systems and distributed architectures.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor other developers.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for learning and working with new technologies.
